The Osu Police have arrested a Lebanese businessman who reportedly fired warning shots to ward off suspected armed robbers who were trailing him.
Accra-based 3FM reports that the incident happened on Thursday night after the Lebanese man suspected some persons, believed to be criminals, of trailing him to his shop in Osu.

The businessman is the owner of the Morgan Touch Jewellery shop in Osu but decided to take matters into his own hands upon realizing he was been followed whiles driving on the Oxford street.
The report further claims that sensing danger, the businessman then fired the warning shots when he reached his shop, something that scared the people trailing him away.

The warning shots attracted residents and night revelers who came to the scene and attempted to pounce on him.
This led to the Osu Police being invited, with the businessman subsequently being picked up for interrogation.
The Police has, however, been tightlipped on the matter, with the explanation that it is still under investigations.
