The General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has dismissed claims by his counterpart in NDC, Asiedu Nketiah that the NPP in 2016 charged GHC 500,000.00 in filing fees.
John Boadu says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) should leave the NPP out of its discussions and rather focus and deal with its issues.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr Boadu denied the NPP charged GHC 100,000.00 as filing fee.

“It is a lie we charged 500,000.00 for filing fee. It was 10,000 for the form and filing was 75,000. We have never charged closed to GHC100, 000.00.”
According to him, Mr Asiedu Nketiah may be confusing himself with the conversion from the old to the new currency.
