‘Learned servant’ Bawumia has earned the right to lead Ghana – Napo

-

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has remarked that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is more than prepared to lead Ghana.

Speaking at the start of his four-day tour in the Bono Region, Dr. Opoku Prempeh highlighted Bawumia’s 16 years of experience in governance, asserting that his dedication and understanding of the presidency make him an ideal candidate.

Napo dismissed claims by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that Bawumia’s inexperience and tribal background should be cause for concern.

He noted that Bawumia has faithfully served in his current role, learning essential aspects of governance and leadership that will allow him to excel as President.

During the rally, former Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Kwadwo Adjei Darko, also weighed in, challenging former President John Mahama’s campaign platform.

He argued that Mahama lacks a solid record to campaign on and pointed out what he views as an absence of substantial policy proposals from the NDC.

Further supporting the calls for unity and stability, Bono Regional NPP Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, commonly known as Abronye, accused the NDC of attempting to stir unrest ahead of the election.

He assured supporters that the NPP would continue to prioritize the well-being of Ghanaians and focus on peace and good governance amidst the election season.
