Nigeria’s leading hairstylist, Tayo Alakija, along with her sisters, Tope and Tola, owns The Triplet’s Studio in Lekki, Lagos.
Tayo is bringing her renowned signature pixie cuts to Accra this weekend as part of the Triplets Studio × TayoCuts Takes Africa 1.0 pop-up tour.
The tour, which launched in Abuja from March 20–22, continues in Accra, Ghana, from March 27–29 in partnership with Ghana’s leading beauty chain, POLISHED, owned by Nana and Kokwe.
The highly sought-after sisters will then head to Johannesburg from April 3–5. Known for styling some of Africa’s biggest names, including Tiwa Savage and Ayra Starr, they are expanding their expertise beyond Lagos.
“This tour is about empowering women with styles that exude confidence, class, and individuality,” the sisters said.
Their journey from South London to Lagos in 2018 transformed a rented salon chair into a thriving beauty empire. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they pioneered VIP home salon services, leading to the creation of The Triplet’s Studio, a luxury beauty brand they co-founded.
The Triplet’s Studio is now a flagship brand that blends beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
