The decomposed body of a 22-year-old woman identified as Ama Ataa, a hair dresser has been discovered at New Edubiase in the Ashanti Region.
Reports indicate that the deceased, who is a mother of one, left home about two weeks ago to visit her mother who lives at Nyame Bekyere, a town in the Bosome Freho District also in the Ashanti region but never got home.

Adom News’ Regional Correspondent, Isaac Normanyo, reporting the incident on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Monday, said a nine-year-old boy discovered the body while bird hunting on Sunday.
Normanyo disclosed the deceased had parts of her body dismembered with her wig cap taken off.
“Part of her scalp had been cut, her breast and her fingers had been cut off,” he narrated.
The body has been sent to the News Edubiase mortuary while the family has vowed not to bury the body till the cause of death and culprits are found.
