Ghana striker, Inaki Williams has been nominated for the La Liga Player of the Month award for September.
The 29-year-old has delivered an impressive performance for Athletic Bilbao, netting one goal and providing four assists while completing 69 successful passes across four matches.
His contributions have firmly established him as a vital player for the team this season.
To win the award, Williams will face strong competition from several notable players, including Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid, Barcelona’s rising talent Lamine Yamal, Alaves’ Carlos Vicente, and Lo Celso from Real Betis.
Williams aims to maintain his excellent form as Athletic Bilbao prepares to face AS Roma in the Europa League at the Stadio Olimpico, followed by a home match against Sevilla on Sunday at San Mamés.
Meanwhile, he is expected to be included in the Black Stars squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, which includes a doubleheader against Sudan set for next month.
