The commissioning ceremony, held on Tuesday, September 19, 2024, brought together local stakeholders, including the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), the Municipal Director of Education, and Nana Kwesi Essiam IV, Chief of Whindo, alongside local Assembly Members.
In his speech, Dr Armah who is also the Deputy Works and Housing Minister recounted his initial visit to Whindo MA in 2022, when the school’s infrastructure was in a dire state, with crumbling floors and a dilapidated structure that posed risks to students and staff.
