Former Ghana head coach, Kwesi Appiah, has charged Ghanaians to throw their support behind new Black Stars coach, C.K. Akonnor.

The 45-year-old, who has coached two big clubs in the country, has been named as Ghana’s coach on a two-year deal and will be assisted by David Duncan.

With Akonnor’s first major assignment drawing closer, Appiah, who is the first Ghanaian coach to qualify the Black Stars for FIFA World Cup, wants Ghanaians to support the former Dreams FC and Ashgold trainer.
