“Let’s appreciate artistes who sign other acts on their music label. Managing artiste as an artiste in Ghana is never easy,” says Swedru-based rapper Kwaw Kese after it was announced that fellow rapper Strongman has left Sarkodie’s record label.

Sarkodie announced parting ways with rapper Strongman last weekend and social media couldn’t handle the buzz as some expected the latter to extend his contract with the Sarkcess Music record label.

The exit contract, which was shared on social media, portrayed Strongman left the label in good faith and on a good note.

Sarkodie described Strongman as a ‘gem of his kind’ as he wished him well in his future endeavours.

But, Kwaw Kese, after taking some few notes from Strongman’s fate urged Ghanaians to laud him including artistes such as Samini, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, R2bees, D Black, and EL among other musicians for pushing music careers of some up-and-coming acts.

According to him, it’s a tough one promoting their own careers, yet still, they put others’ careers before them first.

Kwaw’s tweet (below) read:

“Managing artiste as an artiste in Gh is never easy, pls let’s appreciate any artiste trying to push/put another artiste on. Samini, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Kwaw Kese, R2bees, Dblack, EL etc It’s hard for an artiste in Gh to even put themselves on, likewise pushing another.”
