Enterprising midfielder, Kwasi Donsu has extended his contract with Tarkwa-based side, Medeama SC till 2020.
The extension dashes the hopes of Asante Kotoko to secure his services.
The free kick expert signed a new one-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2020 after arriving from Berekum Arsenal in 2013.
Donsu expressed his delight after putting pen to paper for the former MTN FA CUP champions.
“I am delighted to have signed a new contract,” he told the club’s website.
“Medeama is home and I’m happy to have committed my long-term future to the club. This is a club with great ambitions and the management and fans have been extremely supportive”, he said.
Donsu has been impressive this season for the Mauves and Yellow, scoring seven times to propel the club to finish the first round at the summit of the table, as well as providing inspiration for his teammates resulting in many tipping the club for Premier League glory this season.
