Gomoa Central MP-elect, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as Kwame A Plus has expressed willingness to do business with the National Democratic Congress(NDC) in Parliament.
A Plus who is an Independent candidate said the NDC has already reached out to him to work with them in Parliament.
However, he said the NDC must be committed to the development of his constituency which is a priority to him.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday, he cautioned the NDC not to allow their super majority to get into their heads.
Instead, the urged the NDC to avail themselves for engagement and consensus building.
“The roads from Gomoa Lome to Asebu are terrible. There are no good roads in the constituency. They should put us in their plans because Gomoa Central is part of Ghana and I will join.
“We are experts in bringing governments down and I will spend time to ensure that. We don’t want that so let’s do this nicely. I want development for Ghana and Gomoa,” he stated.
According to him, the NDC’s proposed 24-hour economy is a transformative policy and the Mahama-led government must ensure its effective implementation to boost employment.
Meanwhile, A Plus said the NPP is yet to reach out but will prioritise the options both parties will present.
