Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyepong, has lost his mother, Mrs. Comfort Agyepong.
She passed away at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on February 18, 2025, after a prolonged illness.
Born Adjoa Badu, Mrs. Agyepong was the wife of the late Justice Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong, one of the three High Court judges who, along with a retired army officer, were kidnapped and brutally murdered on June 30, 1982, during the early days of the 31st December Revolution.
Mr. Agyepong took to Facebook on Sunday, February 23, 2025, to mourn his mother, describing her as “a pillar of strength, love, and resilience.”
The Agyepong family has indicated that funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
