The Member of Parliament (MP) for Krachi West, Helen Adjoa Ntoso, has appealed to the New Patriotic Party government to complete projects that were initiated by the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
Speaking to Adom News, she lamented that the people of Krachi have been deprived of infrastructural development after their land and property were submerged due to the construction of the Akosombo dam, so if President Akufo-Addo and his government are expanding development to other regions, Krachi West must be considered first.
The former Volta Regional Minster lamented about how a six-unit classroom block at Ntewusan, and infrastructural projects that were under construction during President Mahama’s regime had been abandoned.
She said this when she filed and submitted her form at the NDC office at Krachi to seek re-election.
The Women’s Organiser, Mercy Amewugah mentioned that looking at the performance of their MP since she took office, Krachi West had witnessed massive infrastructure development and urged delegates to consider this in giving her chance to bring more development to the area.
Some supporters, who spoke in an interview, described her as the ‘Yaa Asantewa’ of the area who had created an enabling environment to allow youth in the area get access to jobs.
