The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for the Adentan Constituency, Akosua Asaa Manu, has officially filed her nomination to contest in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The filing, which took place yesterday, marks a significant milestone in her bid to secure a seat in Parliament as the representative for the Adentan constituency.
Speaking after submitting her nomination forms, Akosua Manu reaffirmed her dedication to advancing the development of the Adentan Constituency.
She vowed to work relentlessly to enhance the quality of life for residents, citing her extensive track record as proof of her unwavering commitment to the community.
“Although I am not yet the Member of Parliament, my efforts in improving sanitation, supporting quality education, assisting small and medium enterprises, enhancing infrastructure, and providing grants and other social interventions demonstrate my readiness to do even more when elected,” she stated.
She called on the constituents to rally behind her, urging them to vote massively for her in the December 7 elections.
Akosua Manu assured the electorates of her commitment to a peaceful electoral process, highlighting the NPP’s dedication to peace, transparency, and fairness.
“The NPP stands for peace, transparency, and fairness, and I assure the electoral officers and all stakeholders of my commitment to ensuring a peaceful election,” she added.
For his part, the Returning Officer (R.O) for the Adentan Electoral Area, Judah Oddoye, emphasised the importance of peaceful campaigns.
He encouraged all party members and candidates to engage in activities that promote harmony before, during, and after the elections.
As the race for the Adentan Parliamentary seat gains momentum, Akosua Manu’s submission of her nomination forms stands as a key milestone in her bid to represent the constituency, according to some constituents.
“Her message of development, peace, and transparency resonates with many in the community, setting the stage for what promises to be a closely watched contest in the December polls,” they added.
