Kotoko's Adako Jachie to receive face lift

-

Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Obed Acheampong, has stated that the club is ready to construct a state-of-the-art pitch at Adako Jachie.
In September this year, the club Chairman, Dr.Kwame Kyei cut sod to set the ground running for the construction of the 20,000 seater stadium.
The Adako Jachie project, which was started by former Executive Chairman, Dr KK Sarpong is supposed to have a two-storey building to serve as changing rooms and offices for the technical staff.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Mr. Acheampong said:
“Kumasi Asante Kotoko is ready to construct an ultramodern pitch at Adako Jachie ,” he said.
He further stated that “the facility will come along with medical and rehab facilities”.
The ground breaking project, being partly funded by Mobile Telecom giants, MTN, is part of an overall regional economic development plan designed to host Asante Kotoko’s home games in the premier league and other continental tournaments.
The club is determined to give the training hub a face-lift.
