Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Obed Acheampong, has assured supporters of the club that none of the things that happened during preseason will repeat itself in their upcoming game against CARA.
He gave this assurance following their 1-0 defeat to Aduana Stars who lifted the first trophy of the 2017/2018 football season in the Super Cup in Obuasi.
“I want to tell the fans that the team is preparing very well ahead of the CARA game and that none of the things that happened during preseason will repeat itself”, he said.
“We are focused as a club, and we also believe in the players we have assembled for Africa”.
“We have learnt a lot of lessons during preseason which we believe will help us a lot in Africa “, he added.
Asante Kotoko will play Club Athlétique Renaissance Aiglon (CARA) of Congo in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.
The first leg will be played on the weekend of 9-11 of February 2018 and the return leg 16-18 February, 2018.
