Kotoko warn clubs over Amos Frimpong

-

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of 2017 MTN FA Cup champions, Obed Acheampong has debunked rumors that Asante Kotoko has parted ways with stalwart defender and current Captain, Amos Frimpong.
The experienced right full back is been rumored to be leaving the club for other clubs including Enyimba FC in Nigeria following the expiration of his contract this season.
But the PRO of the club has rubbished this claims as according to him the WAFU winning defender remains an integral part of the club.
He has thus called on clubs interested in his signature to consider ‘breaking the bank’ to get him.
“Amos Frimpong remains a player and a captain of Asante Kotoko. Though he is yet to sign a new contract, he is not joining any other club. Any club that will want his services should be ready to dish out some huge sums of money”, Obed told Asempa FM.
Amos Frimpong joined the porcupine warriors as a direct replacement for Yaw Frimpong who joined TP Mazembe in 2015.
