Former Great Olympics head coach, Annor Walker has praised Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah, commending his talent.
Amoah has been a standout performer in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League, making headlines after scoring the match-winner in Kotoko’s 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Recalling how he discovered Amoah, Walker shared, “During my time at Great Olympics, we went to Koforidua to play a game there, and I spotted Albert Amoah playing for Kwaebibirem United FC and I told my technical team to get me that player.
“He joined Olympics and he was such a good player but it was unfortunate that we couldn’t stay together for long. Albert Amoah is a talented player and I am not surprised about his start at Asante Kotoko,” he added.
Amoah will look to continue his impressive form when the Black Galaxies face Nigeria in the qualifiers for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
