Asante Kotoko management are in negotiation with Medeama SC to make Justice Blay’s loan deal with the club permanent.

The enterprising defensive midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors on loan from the Tarkwa based side ahead of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

The 26-year-old has been superb for Maxwell Konadu’s side and has established himself as one of the key players for the club.

Blay played a key role in Kotoko’s 2:1 win over their rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in the matchday six fixtures.

Reports in the media suggest that Justice Blay will return to his parent club at the end of the season but management member of Kotoko, Nana Kwame Dankwah in an interview with Nhyira FM says the club are in negotiation to make Blay’s loan deal permanent.

“Justice Blay has been superb for Kotoko and the management of the club are delighted to have him,” he said.

“He has gel very well at the club and I know every support of Kotoko will love to see him stay. At the moment we are in talks with the owner of Medeama SC [Moses Armah Parkah] to make sure Justice Blay stays with us and I know he will like to stay with us,” he added.
