Former Head of Communications at the Presidency has celebrated the 80th birthday of late former President John Evans Atta Mills in a special way.

Samuel Koku Anyidoho joined the maternal family of the late President to celebrate the special day at his final resting place, ‘Asomdwe Park’ in Accra.

Amidst singing, dancing and powerful prayers, the 80th birthday of the late President was marked to the glory of God.

As a Christian who never shied away from his love for God and the Word of God, the family’s birthday present was a Holy Bible.

The Ekumfi Odomna family from Ekumfi Otuam was led by Obaahemaa Nana Enifua III, Kyidomhemaa of the Odomna Ebusua and Ebusuapanyin Kobina Biney, led the Clan Heads to the celebration.

They pledged to support Koku Anyidoho to keep the legacy of the late Atta Mills alive.

Mr. Anyidoho who is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Atta-Mills Institute expressed profound gratitude to the family for bearing the cross of the family amidst insults and vile vilification.

He promised not to ever give up nor relent in giving lasting memory to the legacy of the late President.

“He was a very good man and I can’t stop appreciating what he did for me so no matter how heavy the cross is, I have chosen to carry it to the glory of God and country. I know that in this 12th year of the painful death of my political father, my cross shall land on Calvary for redemption/salvation to crown my determination and resilience” Mr. Anyidoho added.
