Renowned journalist and CEO of Kofi TV, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani, is receiving specialized medical treatment in Dubai to restore vision in one of his eyes following a tragic accident.
The incident occurred last week at a funeral in Dormaa, Bono Region, during the firing of musketry by chiefs at the traditional ceremony.
Reports indicate that as Kofi Adomah repositioned himself, gunpowder from a fired musket struck his face, causing severe injuries.
The accident left him unable to see in one eye, with the other eye also affected, resulting in blurry vision.
After receiving initial medical care in Ghana, Kofi Adomah was transferred to Dubai for advanced treatment.
“He’s now in Dubai working to restore vision in the blurry eye, but it seems the other eye may not regain sight,” a source close to the journalist revealed.
