Renowned Ghanaian gospel singer and songwriter Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, popularly known as KODA, is set to be laid to rest on Friday, September 20, 2024, after five months of his passing.
The final funeral rites will take place at the KICC Dominion Centre on Spintex Road in Accra, followed by a private burial ceremony.
This comes after a change in the original burial date, which was scheduled for July 5, 2024, but later postponed to September 20, 2024.
KODA, a celebrated figure in the Ghanaian gospel music scene, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, after a brief illness at the age of 45.
He is survived by his wife and three children.
His legacy lives on through his music, including popular songs like “Nsempii,” “Nkwa Abodoo,” “Yapai,” and “Adorso,” which have left a lasting impact on the industry.
