Yasmin Behzadi, the woman who threatened a legal suit against musician King Promise, says the Tema-based singer breached a contract by signing onto producer KillBeatz’s record label.

According to her, she signed, started and invested into King Promise’s craft after rapper Sarkodie introduced him to her and assured King Promise she would help him come to the limelight.

She, therefore, found it difficult to understand why producer KillBeatz will sign King onto his Legacy Life Entertainment record label.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the Dubai-based businesswoman reacted to a press statement by King Promise’s KillBeatz Management, rubbishing claims by him that he has neglected her.

According to the statement, the “Oh Yeah” act was forced to leave Yasmin Behzadi because she allegedly said he was a “waste product”.

But Yasmin said, “King Promise is wrong for trying to act like the victim”.

She denied making him a pauper who had to live on her orders to survive but confirmed she tried to groom him to match up to the status of an A-class artiste.

I think he has forgotten that he signed a 360 deal with me and he wants to come out to tell his fans what they want to hear. I am not damaging his career but he should say the truth otherwise he should hire a good lawyer,” she told Andy Dosty.

if I wanted to make more money I would have signed a top artiste and move on. I don’t have an intention to bring him down. I am only fighting for my right since he wants to be greedy and keep me in the dark,” she added.
