Spanish La Liga side, Celta Vigo have entered the race to sign Kevin-Prince Boateng as the transfer window ends tomorrow at 5pm.
According to reports in Italy, Celta have shown interest in the former Milan and Tottenham Hotspurs forward.
Boateng has scored only scored one goal in his 14 appearances for Fiorentina since joining the club in the summer from Sassuolo.
The 32-year-old, who is currently struggling with a knee problem, might not feature in Beppe Iachini’s plans at the Aremio Franchi and could be on his way out the door before Friday.
The arrival of Patrick Cutrone from Wolverhampton and with Iachini preferring both Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa over Boateng.
His former side, US Sassuolo also expressed interest in signing the Ghanaian but Celta Vigo are now favourite to sign the former Schalke 04 ace.
Boateng has previous spells in Spain with Las Palmas and Barcelona.
