In a heartwarming event held in her hometown as Ghana’s Most Outstanding Teacher for 2024 Fusieni Fusana, was celebrated by the Kete-Muslim Youth Association in the Krachi West municipality of the Oti Region.
The event which took place brought together community members, educators, and students who have been inspired by Fusana’s dedication to education in the country.
Fusana Fusieni, a passionate teacher with Madina SDA Basic School in the Greater-Accra Region with over decades of experience, has made significant contributions to the academic landscape in Ghana.
Her innovative teaching methods and unwavering commitment to her students have not only improved academic performance but also fostered a love for learning among her pupils.
The Kete-Muslim Youth Association recognizing her exceptional achievements organized the event to inspire teachers and other educators in the area.
The Secretary of the Kete-Muslim Youth Association, Hukash Muntari, praised Fusana for her tireless efforts and the positive impact she had on countless lives.
According to him, her achievement has become a beacon of hope for the youth, especially among the Kete-Muslim community.
He noted that, her dedication to education and the ability to connect with pupils and the community was truly remarkable and are proud to have her as a remodel.
The Secretary encouraged teachers and students to emulate the hard work of Fusana irrespective of the areas they may find themselves.
The event featured speeches from dignitaries and her former Kindergarten and primary teachers as the atmosphere was thrilled with joy and gratitude.
She was also presented with awards as attendees shared stories about Ghana’s Most Outstanding Teacher Awardee.
Speaking in an interview with Adom News, Fusieni Fusana thanked the Kete- Muslim Youth Association for the recognition.
She said the honour is not just for her but for all teachers who work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of their students.
The Most Outstanding Teacher also encouraged her colleague teachers to do their best to transform the country’s educational sector.
