Kete-Krachi Cluster of World Vision supports maiden teachers awards in Nchumuru district

As part of it commitment to education and community development, the Kete-Krachi Cluster of World Vision Ghana has made significant donation to support the 1st maiden Teachers Awards ceremony in the Krachi-Nchumuru district of the Oti Region.

The donation, which included 7 set of 32 digital televisions,4 gas cylinders with burners, table top fridge, standing fans and others aims to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication of teachers who play pivotal role in shaping the future of the youth in the area.

The Teachers Awards ceremony, set to take place on 9th October 2024, will honour outstanding educators who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their profession.

During the presentation ceremony, the Kete-Krachi Cluster manager, Irvin Aboagye, stressed the importance of recognizing the efforts of educators.

According to him, teachers are the backbone of the society and therefore, their dedication and hard work deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated.

He emphasized that the donation of the TV sets and gas cylinders will enhance the event and provide a platform for teachers to be recognized and appreciated for their hard work and dedication.

Mr. Aboagye also highlighted the role of teachers in shaping the future generation and the need to support and motivate them in their work.

He expressed World Vision Ghana’s commitment to promoting education and improving the welfare of teachers in the community.

The DCE for Nchumuru district, Akwesi Nkrumah Ogyile expressed their gratitude for the donation and praised World Vision Ghana for their support.

He stated that the awards ceremony will boost their morale and encourage teachers in the area to continue striving for excellence in their profession.

Nkrumah Ogyile noted the organization’s support is greatly appreciated and will have a lasting impact in the educational sector in the Krachi Nchumuru district.
