Kennedy Agyapong goes berserk during NPP’s ‘Thank You’ Tour [Video]

Former Assin Central MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, flared up on Monday, April 28, during the 2024 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s thank-you tour in Berekum in the Bono Region.

This occurred shortly after the NPP Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe Abronye, addressed party members present.

Abronye questioned the sincerity of those advocating for unity within the NPP, noting that they had previously sown seeds of discord through their statements.

He echoed Dr. Bawumia’s observation that the NDC capitalized on such attacks and utterances during the 2024 election campaign.

Emphasising the need for discipline, the outspoken politician also rejected Mr. Agyapong’s call for amnesty for people who have left the NPP or those who have been suspended.

However, his comments did not sit well with Mr. Agyapong, who took the microphone to respond directly.

Although he did not mention names, a visibly angry Kennedy Agyapong warned that he could not be intimidated.

“Some people talk as if they own the party, but they don’t. If we are seeking real men in the party, they don’t measure up. Their financial contribution is minimal.

“They go around begging, yet they have the audacity to talk. Even you poor people want to speak your mind—how much more rich men like us? Who born dog!?” he lashed out.

Unhappy with the tone and direction of Mr. Agyapong’s remarks, some members of the audience began murmuring among themselves.
