Yamoah Frimpong Attafuah, a second son of the Executive Secretary of the National Identification Authority (NIA) Prof. Kenneth Attafuah, stole the spotlight at the 2024 Ashesi University graduation ceremony.
Young Attafuah, who studied Computer Engineering graduated top of his class and swept other highly-esteemed awards in the school.
He was adjudged action-oriented scholar, gracious servant leader, and optimistic citizen, becoming the recipient of “The President’s Award for Scholarship, Leadership & Citizenship.”
In addition, Wofa as his father affectionately calls him received the Technical Excellence Award at an event at the Labadi Beach Hotel ahead of the graduation ceremony.
Taking to Facebook, Prof Attafuah who could not hide his joy expressed his proud he was of his son, the joy for the family is boundless.
He recounted how his son at an early age, he would be hitting the computer key, trying repeatedly to jump over a hurdle in the Spiderman game.
To him, the lesson from his son’s feat proves that grit, perseverance, discipline, selflessness and reliance on God are key to attaining exceptional success.
