The Member of Parliament-elect for the Awutu Senya East Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Philis Naa Koryoo Okunor, has vowed to tackle criminal activities in Kasoa and transform the area into a thriving hub for investment and development.
Speaking during a thanksgiving service in Kasoa, Naa Koryoo pledged to create job opportunities for the youth by attracting investors to establish companies in the area.
She assured residents that her leadership would prioritize economic growth and job creation to uplift the image of Kasoa.
“My focus is to change the face of Kasoa by reducing crime and creating an environment that attracts investors. This will lead to the establishment of businesses and the creation of jobs for the youth,” she stated.
In addition to job creation, Naa Koryoo promised to address the persistent water challenges facing parts of the constituency.
She revealed plans to provide immediate solutions through the construction of boreholes while working towards a long-term resolution of the water crisis.
“Our short-term plan is to provide water for residents. It has been a major challenge, and addressing it is my number one priority. We will continue building boreholes as we work on finding a lasting solution to the water crisis,” she assured.
