Kasoa: Man arrested for stealing flag hoisting pole from Immigration office

A 35-year-old man, Yaw Francis, has been arrested by the Kasoa Police after allegedly stealing a flag hoisting pole belonging to the Kasoa Immigration Divisional Command.

The suspect reportedly arrived at midnight to steal the pole from the Immigration Office.

However, officers on duty spotted him carrying the flag hoisting pole and quickly chased him, leading to his arrest.

The suspect was handed over to the Police for prosecution.

Investigations by the Kasoa Central Sector Commander of the Ghana Immigration Service, ACI Fati Yarah revealed that, several items have been stolen by unknown persons from the office in recent times.

The suspect is currently in custody at the Kasoa Under Bridge Police Station, assisting with investigations.
