Following the release of his Jesus Is King project, Kanye West’s 2019 keeps getting busier.
This past weekend, he touched down in Houston to join famed pastor and televangelist Joel Osteen at his Lakewood Church for Sunday Service.
Shortly after, he announced via Twitter that he’s currently preparing his first-ever opera, Nebuchadnezzar, as well. In less than 24 hours, Ye returned to the platform with more exciting news: Jesus Is King II.

The Chicagoan revealed the news on Tuesday (November 18), which comes with a hip-hop head’s dream team, as Ye is currently working on the collaborative project alongside Compton-bred rapper-producer icon Dr Dre.
He shared a photo of himself and Dre in a studio together casually dressed down in sweats, and it appears they’re going steady on the highly anticipated sequel to Jesus Is King.
“Ye and Dre Jesus is King Part II coming soon,” the Chicagoan penned in the post. Dre published an identical post to his 2.9 million followers on his own official Twitter account as well.
