Eastern Regional Coordinator of NADMO, Kwame Appiah Kodua has described the sudden demise of ace broadcast, Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong (KABA) as a national tragedy.
According to him, he is yet to recover from the shocking death of KABA last Saturday after a short illness.
KABA, who was, host of Asempa FM’s flagship afternoon programme, ‘Ekosi Sen’ was pronounced dead on arrival at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he was rushed after he fell sick early Saturday.
He was 37 years. He left behind his wife, Valentina Ofori Agyei, also a broadcaster with Accra-based Class FM and a 7-month old daughter, Nana Yaa.
Speaking on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem Wednesday, Kwame Kodua described the late KABA, as a fun loving person whose life has been cut short at its prime
He said the late KABA “brought balance to bear in his interviews and captured the attention of his audience with his incisive questions.”
“KABA never showed his political colour; he was loved by both NDC and NPP. Oh!!! I’m really shocked” he bemoaned.
The Eastern Regional NADMO Coordinator expressed condolences to the family and the Multimedia group.
Kwame Kodua appealed to the Multimedia group to set up a fund for his daughter for them to also contribute to secure her future.
