Trade and Industry Minister Kobina Tahir (K.T.) Hammond has expressed strong disapproval of Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin’s decision to adjourn Parliament yet again.
Speaking to the press at Parliament House on Thursday, November 7, 2024, following the adjournment, the Adansi Asokwa MP voiced his frustration, stating, “The ruling made on that day has been stayed, so we are acting in accordance with the verdict.
“Why should the NDC members rush to sit on the Majority side? The Supreme Court has spoken, and that settles the matter.”
During the interview, an NDC MP attempted to interject, but K.T. Hammond was undeterred, responding, “You keep making that foolish statement—it doesn’t take you anywhere.”
