Julen Lopetegui’s style fits how I want to play – Mohammed Kudus

-

Ghana forward, Mohammed Kudus is confident that he will continue to improve under West Ham United’s new manager, Julen Lopetegui.

The 23-year-old will be working with the former Real Madrid and Wolves coach following the departure of David Moyes.

Despite the change, Kudus is optimistic about the prospects under Lopetegui’s guidance.

“His [Lopetegui’s] style is how I want to play, how I want to attack as a winger and there is a lot of freedom, which allows me to do that,” he told whufc.com.

“That is the most important thing for me – that I’m allowed to play how I want to. He has different tactics and a different style, but we are all working together to push the Club to the level where we want it to be,” he added.

In his debut season with West Ham, Kudus scored 14 goals and provided six assists in 45 appearances across all competitions after transferring from Ajax.

He is now gearing up for the new Premier League season during preseason training with the team.
