Joyce Bawah Mogtari slams Akufo-Addo government for neglecting Volta Region

-

The spokesperson for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has criticized the Akufo-Addo-led administration for what she claims is a deliberate failure to provide the Volta Region with its fair share of national development.

Speaking during the NDC’s campaign tour of the region, Mrs. Mogtari expressed outrage over what she described as the neglect, punishment, and hardships inflicted on the people of the Volta Region by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

The NDC team, led by flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, has spent four days visiting major constituencies in the Volta Region as part of the first phase of their campaign tour.

According to the team, their assessments reveal significant neglect in the region under the current administration.

Mogtari stated, “The Akufo-Addo-led regime has no interest in giving the Volta Region the comfort it deserves. We have seen numerous neglected projects and an economic downturn in the region, which clearly points to the government’s lack of commitment to the people here.”

She urged the people of the Volta Region to remain hopeful and consider voting for the NDC for a positive change.

“We believe that the Volta Region will vote massively for the NDC in this year’s elections to bring about the much-needed turnaround,” Mogtari added.
