Jordan Ayew goal sinks Arsenal

-

Jordan Ayew’s fine scoring form continued on Tuesday night as he netted in Swansea City’s stunning 3-1 home win over Arsenal in the Premier League.
Ayew struck his fifth league goal of the season as the Swans claimed full spoils to move temporarily out of the relegation zone.
A horrendous error from veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech allowed Jordan Ayew to score a tap-in which put the hosts ahead just after the hour mark, before Sam Clucas’ second goal made the result safe.
Mesut Ozil’s sensational pass had allowed Nacho Monreal to open the scoring for the Gunners, but Clucas levelled for Swansea within a minute at the Liberty Stadium.
Victory means Swansea have earned back-to-back wins for the first time this season, while Arsene Wenger’s side have won only three of 13 Premier League away games this term.
Jordan, on the other hand, is enjoying by far his best spell since moving to England in the summer of 2015 when he signed for Aston Villa.
In over 50 appearances for Villa in two seasons, Ayew scored nine goals but he has a total of six for Swans this term.
And with more than 20 games remaining, one can bet on Jordan smashing his Villa scoring record.
