Ghana captain Jordan Ayew has expressed confidence ahead of the Black Stars’ crucial encounter against Madagascar in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, assuring fans that the team will make the nation proud.
The four-time African champions will face Barea tonight at the Al Hoceima Grand Stadium, with kick-off set for 19:00 GMT.
Speaking ahead of the game, Ayew reaffirmed his belief in the team’s ability to secure a victory.
“The first stage has been done against Chad, and now we have to do it against Madagascar,” the Leicester City striker said.
“The boys are ready, and I’m fully confident that we will do it and make Ghana proud,” he added.
Ghana’s impressive 4-0 victory over Chad in Matchday five at the Accra Sports Stadium propelled them to the top of Group I with 12 points.
The Black Stars will now aim to maintain their strong form and extend their lead with another decisive performance against Madagascar.
