The Eastern Regional Communications Director of NPP, David Prah has hit hard at the former President John Mahama, describing his current campaign tour of the Central Region as a tour of “deception”.
The maverick communicator enumerated a number of instances where Mr. Mahama and his National Democratic Congress (NDC) had promised Ghanaians of juicy projects but ended up deceiving the people when they came to power.
Mr. Mahama last week described the Free SHS Double Track System as “Senseless” and would be reviewed if voted into power in 2020.
Mr. David Prah mentioned that, former President Mahama and his NDC promised to implement one-time Health Insurance Premium but ended up collapsing the enviable National Health Insurance system instituted by the erstwhile NPP Kufuor regime, Mr. Mahama and his NDC promised to increase Teacher and Nursing Trainees Allowance but ended up cancelling the Teacher and Nursing Trainees Allowance, Mahama and his NDC promised to implement the National Identification System but ended up issuing zero workable National Identification Card, Mr. Mahama and his NDC promised to build 200 Senior High Schools by the end of 2016 but ended up building 17, Mr. Mahama and his NDC promised to decrease fuel prise drastically but ended up increasing it drastically.
The NPP firebrand described the former President Mahama as a “corn man” embarking on a deception campaign tour.
He said the Mr. Mahama was “incompetent when he was in power and is still incompetent even in opposition”.
In a telephone interview on Happy FM, David Prah catalogue a number of corrupt activities that happened under under the Former President John Mahama regime like SADA, SUBA, GYEEDA, WAYOME, BUS BRANDING, etc and appealed to the Attorney General and the Special Prosecutor to expedite action to prosecute those involved.
He commended the President HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for the numerous developmental project and the introduction of social intervention policies such the free Senior High School, Nations Builders Corps, Planting for food and for Jobs, One District One Industry, massive on-going road and rail projects etc.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo will deliver and urged Ghanaians to have patience with the government to fix the mess caused by the Mahama regime.
