The conduct of the Pathologist, Nana Obiri Boahen maintained, amounts to gross disrespect of the rule of law of Ghana.
Dr Lawrence Edusie who had claimed the autopsy report of the late MP was missing on Thursday February 22, 2018 dropped the autopsy report at the Court’s Registry but failed to appear in person.
The presiding judge, Justice Ms Gloria Laryea, during proceedings revealed that the court had received the sealed report and would forward it to the Criminal Investigations Department.

The livid lawyer noted that the pathologist ought to have appeared before the court after a subpoena had been served on him.
“The Doctor should have been in court today. If you are the President of Ghana and you are subpoenaed you have to appear in court [but] he is not in court. This is gross disrespect to the court”, Obiri Boaheng stated.
Nana Obiri Boahen said he has also written officially to the Ghana Medical Council about the conduct of the Pathologist but was yet to get a response.
