Ghanaian midfielder, Alfred Duncan has completed a move to Italian club Venezia FC following his exit from Fiorentina.

The 31-year-old has committed to a contract with Venezia that extends through the 2025/2026 season, with an option of contract extension.

A product of Inter Milan’s youth system, Duncan brings a wealth of Serie A experience to his new team.

His career includes stints at Livorno, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Cagliari, and most recently Fiorentina.

Over his career, he has made 304 Serie A appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 17 assists.

Duncan has also competed in European tournaments, with eight appearances in the Conference League and five in the Europa League, including qualifiers.

His experience is expected to be a significant boost for Venezia as they prepare for future seasons.

After leaving Fiorentina this summer, where he made 41 appearances in his final season and contributed two goals and five assists, Duncan is ready to make an impact at Venezia.

On the international front, he has earned 10 caps for the Ghana national team. His versatility and experience are set to enhance Venezia FC’s midfield as they look to strengthen their squad.
