Medeama Sporting Club has announced the appointment of Isaac Amoako as their new goalkeeper’s coach.
Amoako, a former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, has committed to a two-year contract with the Yellow and Mauve.
“I am thrilled to be part of this ambitious club. Medeama SC has a strong vision for the future, and I am excited to contribute to the team’s success,” Amoako expressed on the club’s website.
“My focus will be on developing our goalkeepers to their fullest potential and ensuring they are ready for the challenges ahead,” he added.
Previously, Isaac Amoako served as the goalkeeper trainer for Nsoatreman FC, where he played a crucial role in enhancing the skills and performance of the club’s goalkeepers.
His expertise is expected to significantly bolster Medeama’s goalkeeping department, ensuring it is well-prepared and resilient.
In addition to his new role at Medeama SC, Amoako is also the goalkeeper trainer for Ghana’s U-20 team, the Black Satellites.
As the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season is set to begin on September 6, Medeama SC will kick off their campaign with a home game against Accra Lions at the TNA Park.
