The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana at an ongoing Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting has assured political parties and the public that it will release the final Voters Register in six days from today, October 1, 2024.
During a presentation on Tuesday, October 1, the EC confirmed that it plans to have the final register ready 60 days before the general election, which is in line with its electoral timeline.
By calculation, 60 days before the December 7, 2024, elections fall on October 7, 2024.
The final voter register is a critical component of the electoral process, as it ensures that all eligible voters are accurately listed and can participate in the polls.
