The Alliance for a Better NPP Government has issued a statement warning persons in the ruling party with an agenda to undermine the office of the Chief of Staff to desist from such acts.
According to Gabby Nkansah Djan, who is the Secretary of the group, certain elders in the New Patriotic Party have become insensitive and are scheming to start an internal scandal following the death of the late former Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Emmanuel Kyerematen Agyarko.

Barely seventy two (72) hours after sad news on the sudden death of the honorable Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Emmanuel Kyerematen Agyarko, broke out, certain elements identified as mercenaries of some “self serving” elders of the New Patriotic Party have desperately been launching unjustified attacks premised on ‘wicked lies’ directed at certain hardworking staffs at the forceful office of the Chief of Staff.
One Nana Yaw Boampong, has according to unimpeachable evidence available, been suggesting machevilian plots and ploy with the prime motive of tainting black the integrity of certain hardworking staffs such as Frank Asiedu Bekoe known in Political circles as “Protozoa”.
Few Months ago, there was a report on how a “supposed” party elder who met certain NPP party members in the United States, dedicated his time in lambasting and peddling outright lies against the office of the Chief of Staff.
However, keen political observers have established that the main target of these “sour grape” party elders is to use the able Chief of Staff as their “punching bag” via indirectly targeting her staffs as objects for their misleading tales like they’re known to have done in the past to people they didn’t like inter or outer NPP.
In the insensitive and mischievous state of mind of these party elders and their lackeys, they have sought to put out fictional untruthful articles and deceptive images suggesting false claims .
In as much as Frank Asiedu Bekoe, has debunked those stories and having expressed in the strongest of words his unwillingness to express his inalienable right in the contest of this constitutionally required “by-elections”, it’s important to remind these party elders who ought to know better, about the essence of President Akufo-Addo’s passionate appeal on the NPP to remain together for the success of our prosperous Ghana agenda.
These elders may not like the persons occupying certain positions in this goverment, but they should learn to accept that their singular view should not make them think they’re too wise than our President Nana Akufo-Addo, in whom rest the power of appointments/ dis-appointments.
The NPP is less than two years in office, our strong appeal particularly to these selfish elders is to jettison out the negative thoughts of putting spanners into the works of hardworking folks who work their heart’s out in other to see the NPP and President Nana Akufo-Addo succeed and be able to look beyond people they may not like in this government.
Rather they should direct their efforts on how to promote the good works of the visionary President Akufo-Addo and this government.
