Empowering the Youth Through Reading

The organizers, Infinity 970, highlighted that the organization has been running similar programs across Accra over the years to equip young people with essential skills.

According to him, many individuals possess remarkable talents, but a lack of exposure and opportunities hinders their growth.

He noted that Infinity 970 seeks to bridge this gap by supporting people, particularly in areas such as education, health, and communication.

He further emphasized the benefits of reading, stating that beyond strengthening students’ writing skills and vocabulary, reading enhances focus, memory, imagination, creativity, and public speaking abilities.

Commitment to Academic Excellence

The Deputy Director in charge of Supervision and Management of Teaching and Learning at the Ayawaso Central Municipal Assembly commended the initiative, acknowledging its importance at a time when additional academic support is needed for students.

She assured that the municipality would continue to engage students through reading festivals, language clubs, and writers’ clubs to equip them with the necessary skills to excel in their education, particularly in preparation for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

Infinity 970’s commitment to improving reading skills is a significant step toward nurturing confident and academically strong students, ensuring a brighter future for young learners in the municipality.
