Actress Annie has subtly confirmed her divorce from singer 2Face Idibia, declaring during the 2025 Headies Awards that she is now to be addressed as Annie Macauley.
The moment came while Annie was on stage to present the award for Best Afrobeat Singer.
Dressed elegantly in a colorful lemon green ensemble, she took a brief pause to give a shoutout to all single ladies, pointedly including herself.
In what many interpreted as a confirmation of her changed marital status, Annie declared that she no longer carries the Idibia name and should be referred to simply as Annie Macauley.
The statement comes months after news broke that Annie and 2Face were heading for a divorce after 12 years of marriage.
As it stands, 2Face has moved on and held a traditional marriage ceremony with his new lover, Natasha.
