I’m a staunch Presbyterian but… Abronye DC [audio]

-

Outspoken New Patriotic Party Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, has revealed he is an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana who also has love for smaller gods.

He explained that his love for other gods is borne out of their propensity to dispense swift and timely justice.

Abronye DC, as he is popularly called, made the comment while explaining why he chose to curse a young man who accused him of having five of the 500 missing excavators in his possession.

Family of the young man, Yayra Koku, has given the NPP Chairman 72 hours to revoke the curse or face their wrath.

But explaining the motive behind his conduct on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, Abronye said he wanted quick results to teach his accusers a lesson.

According to him, he does not have the strength to fast and pray for God to deal with those defaming him.

“God takes too much time before he acts and I can’t wait that long. The gods are fast that is why I prefer that” he told Ekosiisen host, Philip Osei Bonsu.

Abronye DC said though he is still a staunch Presbyterian, he will, on any day, summon his detractors to river gods.
