I’m a homeboy in Effia; I’m the next MP – NDC PC

-

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Effia Constituency in the Western Region, Abdul Majeed-Dokurgu is optimistic the NDC will win the seat in the December 7 election.

Speaking on Constituency Watch on Asempa FM Ekosii Sen, Mr Dokurgu touted himself as an Effia homeboy who has a good relationship with constituents.

With him as the NDC’s candidate, he emphasised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Isaac Boamah stand no chance.

“I am the next MP for Effia and I can tell you I’m the next MP. My opponent stand no chance in the contest. From the analysis I have done and my engagement with constituents, if elections are conducted today, I will win,” he declared.

The high spirited candidate stated he is credible and capable candidate who can win voters on both sides of the political divide.

When asked by show host, Osei Bonsu (OB) the margin with which he can win, Dokurgu replied, “Margins doesn’t matter. It is the win and I will be the next MP. The NPP themselves know this is a swing seat and not their stronghold. I am a homeboy; these are my people. I have school mates, people I have played football with and a whole lot.”

The seat is currently being held by the NPP with Joseph Cudjoe as the Member of Parliament(MP).
