I’ll reject Dec. 7 election results if… – NPP Cape Coast North PC [Audio]

-

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Cape Coast North Parliamentary candidate, Horace Ekow Ewusi has vowed to reject the December 7 election results if he wins with less than 55% votes.

Mr Ewusi is contesting against Dr Kwamena Minta Nyarku, who is the incumbent MP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate.

Dr Nyarku in 2020 polled 22,972 votes, snatching the seat from the NPP’s Barbara Ayisi who obtained 21,643 votes.

However, Ekow Ewusi who is the former NPP Central Regional Vice Chairman has expressed confidence that, he will emerge victorious and win back the seat.

According to him, the grounds look fertile in his favour and there is no doubt he is the people’s favourite.

He made the declaration on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem Thursday.

“I don’t want it to seem like I’m blowing my own trumpet but the signs are clear on the ground. If I win with less than 55% votes, I will resign, in fact I won’t even accept the results. I will ask for a fresh election,” he stated.
