Legendary Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah has shared his admiration for Ghanaian music as he names his top three favorite local musicians.
In a recent interview, Ramsey revealed that his all-time favorite is the iconic Daddy Lumba, followed by Sarkodie, whom he described as “the M.I Abaga of Nigeria.”
Although he confessed that he is not very familiar with other contemporary artists, he stated that Daddy Lumba’s music left a lasting impression on him.
When talking about Sarkodie, Ramsey dramatically expressed his admiration, saying, “I would die for his music anytime.” He described the Rapperholic as being “on another level” and praised his flow and delivery, calling them “unmatched.”
Interestingly, Ramsey also mentioned producer and artist Young Jonn on his list, admitting that he loved his music because he initially mistook him for a Ghanaian.
The revelation has sparked excitement on social media, with fans of both Ramsey Nouah and Sarkodie celebrating the mutual respect between Nollywood and Ghanaian music.
