I’II secure 80% votes in Tamale North Constituency for Mahama – Suhuyini

Tamale North Member of Parliament, Alhassan Suhuyini, has confidently pledged to secure around 80% of the votes for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, in the upcoming December 7 elections.

“In previous elections, we achieved between 60-65%. This time, with the assurances we have, we are aiming for 80%—we will get 80% of the votes for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.”

Mr Suhuyini expressed optimism that this election would be the easiest for the NDC, the largest opposition party.

He noted that, the people of northern Ghana have already made up their minds on the best candidate to lead the country.

Although both major political parties are fielding candidates from the north, Suhuyini predicted a straightforward victory for the NDC, emphasizing that the people had already experienced both candidates’ leadership.

“By God’s grace, this election will be easy. Our decision in the northern region is clear. We know who cares for our welfare. As president and vice president, they made pilgrimage easier, developed our markets, and improved our hospitals.”

He made these comments during a media interview after filing his nomination at the Sagnarigu EC office, where he is contesting for a third consecutive term as MP for the Tamale North Constituency.
